Hi

I am new to this group and I have a question about acoustic consultants
in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.  I work at the University of
Minnesota’s School of Music.  Our 160 seat recital hall needs some
isolation work.  There are significant transmissions from near by
practice rooms and hallway noise.  There are also minor HVAC concerns
(vent rattling).  The room is a classical performance space and it is
important to either preserve improve the room resonance in this process.
I would like to find a consultant with experience in working with
classical venues.

Any leads or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Phillip

Have you tried the National Council of Acoustical Consultants online
directory?

Thanks Jeff

Phillip

I'll contact you directly.  Unfortunately, I just found this forum, a
my partner and I just did a workshop for the local AES chapter o
Small Room Acoustics at a recently completed project where we deal
successfully with many of these same issues in a new music facility.
Had I joined earlier, I could have let you known about it
