The Daedalus feature in Nature first became a bit irregular and now
it seems to be gone without any editorial comment.  Does anybody
know what happened or if Daedalus (David Jones) will resurface?

Thank you.

The first disappearance was  because Jones became ill (Nature
said "indisposed".)  The column was back for a while, then Nature
announced that because of rearrangements in News and Views
the column would no longer appear.

His inventiveness was impressive, esp as not all of his inventions were as silly
as they seemed.
