of frogs seen on quake area roads just before the
big May quake. Note, animal precursors have a
long history in Chinese folklore and a 1970s quake
was supposed predicted on that

I would steer wide and clear from any Chinese sites but this is one
that I have visited. And I get a lot of Chinese spam so maybe this is
the cause. >

Hi Rick,
Within two weeks of this report a *forester* reported that this was an
annual
toad migration. Two weeks later another area in China had the same
migration
in progress with no quakes reported.
