5000 G Acceleration From A Flower

_Science News_ had something on a plant that accelerates pollen with
some kind of catapult device in the bud -- 800 times the G forces on a
rocket.

Couldn't we use THIS for fusion?  Maybe gene splice it up to 50,000 G.

Drop steel marbles on a granite floor.  You can buy computer hard drives
that will survive a 10,000 g impact!

But what I'm really waiting for is a 'cold' fusion experiment vetted by John
Edwards, at a distance, without communication with the apparatus!
