I'm an alien from outer space and I must really laugh about you dumb human
creatures who don't even understand such simple things as cold fusion.

Our kids learn about cold fusion in Kindergarten.

If you cannot figure out such a simple thing as cold fusion and you still
have to use fossil fuels to survive, I can tell you, that your absolutely
non-intelligent race will have no future.

Not understanding cold fusion, no, no, no, how embarrasing...

I do not think insulting human beings is going to help them at all.  It
appears to us that their delicate space emergant civilisation is about to
collapse into starvation, warfare and massive extictions with a near
destruction of human and animal life.  The survivors will re-emerge into a
struggling forest dwelling people living off the land in a hunter-gatherer
manner everywhere in the planet earth.  They have willy nhilly ignored our
advice and all messages from contactees.

I do not think they realise how close this catastrophe of the own making is
coming and they have had 40 years warning when they could have done
something.

There is one aspect of their culture that will certainly survive and that is
religion even though it is these irrational beliefs that have indirectly
caused this situation.  I don't think there is any escape now. It is already
too late.

I suggest you evacuate with your fellows and return to Alpha Centuri.  It
will be my turn soon.  I think I am going to have a heart attack.

Please, Mister alien troll, tell us how smart you are!  Such an advanced
civilization and you can't even get English grammar right.  Don't worry,
though, hardly anyone else can, either.

Yes I know, I wonder at human cleverness yet they've not sussed it out yet,
too busy bickering.  I remember in grade 5 we had cold fusion and hot fusion
working together on the laboratory table.  Great fun.  You should have come
to ET school.

Was the laboratory table wood or marble?

It was of course the best beach wood on the planet, with all the fittings.
The grade fivers don't get computer controlled matter creaters.  Only the
undergraduates get those.

Graduates students get to make people.  The law says that "sentient beings
should not suffer or be killed" so this is true of our created beings too.

Since I am a created being, I am quite pleased by this law.  I may suffer
punishment though.

That could be serious.
