To see this, compare the trend of the red colored points on the graph I have provided with a straight line. The period term in the sine function was given freedom to check the accuracy of both the measurement and numeric computation. The optimizer computed .999488 for this value that is obviously the 1-year CO2 cycle. (See Al Gore's movie or book for a good explanation of the 1-year CO2 cycle.) The coefficients determined by the curve fit are very probably as accurate, about three decimal places. This is better than the statistical error. (And, I didn't confuse radians for degrees like the infamous Canadian fossil fool! What fantasy world does this twit live, in which he can selectively choose and manipulate his data, make wild claims of scientific conclusions which are not supported, and fraudulent claim that showing CO2 rising and temperature rising with his falsified and cultured statistics proves cause and effect and will not be held criminally and civilly liable at some point if used to enter statements into law or pursue the passage of laws that affect people? If Poppycock were concerned with CO2 rise, he would be bitching about the burning of the Amazon Jungles instead of rooting for his investements and monetary gain by passage of laws to control emissions from the use of fuel. Burning of tropical forests account for fully 1/4 of all human produced CO2 and this is also an important reduction of the natural means to reduce CO2 from the air.
