Most recent significant police events

   * 1500 N Tryon St Robbery from Business - Armed

         The suspect entered the listed location armed with a hand
gun. The suspect took property from the business and fled on foot. No
injuries were reported. The suspects was a BM wearing a red shirt.

     Incident occured on July 26, 2008.
   * 1600 Central Ave Robbery from Person - Armed

         Victim was at the listed location when he was approached by
three BM suspects. The suspects struck the victim in the head causing
a large cut to his forehead. The suspects took property from the
victim and fled the scene in a red mini van. The victim was treated at
CMC for his non life threatening injuries.

     Incident occured on July 26, 2008.
   * 5700 Leake St Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

         The victim stated that there was a disturbance at the listed
location and that he was stabbed with an unknown object. The victim
was treated at Presbyterian Main for non life threatening stab wound.

     Incident occured on July 26, 2008.
   * 2500 Markham Ct. Robbery from Person - Armed

         The victim reported being assaulted and robbed by two B/M¿s,
both approx. 17 years old, 5'7", 150 lbs., one wearing blue shorts and
a blue shirt, and the other wearing a black shirt, armed w/ a handgun.
The suspects fled on foot. The victim sustained minor injury, but
refused medic.

     Incident occured on July 25, 2008.
   * 1900 E 7TH ST Robbery from Business - Armed

         The Starbucks Coffee advised that a B/M entered the business
and took property. The B/M is described as approx. 55 YOA, bald, and
wearing an off-white t-shirt with writing on the front. Unknown
whether the suspect fled the scene on foot or in a vehicle. No
injuries reported.

     Incident occured on July 25, 2008.
   * 4400 Glenwood DR Death-Natural

         Freedom Division officers responded to the location
reference to a victim found deceased.

     Incident occured on July 25, 2008.
   * 4400 The Plaza Robbery from Person - Armed

         The victim reported being robbed by a B/M w/ short hair, in
his 30's, wearing an orange shirt, armed w/ a handgun. The suspect
fled in a grey 4-door Cadillac, NC WXH-7255, occupied by two other
B/M's and a B/F. No injuries.

     Incident occured on July 25, 2008.
   * 6800 Northlake Mall Dr. Larceny

         Officers responded to Macy¿s at Northlake Mall reference to
one in custody for shoplifting. The suspect had also assaulted store
security staff and was uncooperative when officers arrived, attempting
to kick the officers. The suspect continued to resist arrest and the
officer used knee strikes to the suspect¿s leg to gain compliance. The
suspect was taken into custody. No injuries to the officers or
suspect. Sgt. Brady handling.

     Incident occured on July 25, 2008.
   * Nations Ford Rd at I-77 Death Investigation

         A victim was found deceased beside the roadway. Homicide and
HITS are investigating the death.

     Incident occured on July 25, 2008.
   * 65000 North Tryon Street Robbery from Person - Armed

         The victim was robbed while in the parking lot of Orchard
Trace Apartments.

     Incident occured on July 25, 2008.
   * 5200 Sunset Road Robbery from Business - Armed

         An unknown suspect entered the business armed with a handgun
and robbed the business.

     Incident occured on July 25, 2008.
   * 9000 Corey Common Ave. Rape/Sexual Assault

         The victim reported that she was sexually assaulted by a
known suspect. A sexual assault detective was notified.

     Incident occured on July 24, 2008.
   * West Blvd./Barringer Dr. Vehicle Pursuit

         Street crimes officers spotted a silver Dodge Caraven taken
in a robbery earlier today. The driver refused to stop for officers
and a pursuit began. The suspect vehicle crashed on Orr Rd. disabling
the vehicle. A male and female were taken into custody. There were no
injuries.

     Incident occured on July 24, 2008.
   * 600 E Woodlawn RD Robbery from Business - Armed

         The Shell Gas Station advised they were robbed at gunpoint
by 2 B/Ms. Both suspects were wearing black t-shirts, black pants, and
black masks. No injuries reported. K9 responded.

     Incident occured on July 24, 2008.
   * 7900 Idewild Road Robbery from Person - Armed

         The victim was approached by the suspect described as a BM
with dreads. The suspect was armed with a hand gun and took the
victims 2006 Silver Dodge Magnum. The victim was not injured.

     Incident occured on July 24, 2008.
   * All significant police events since May 29, 2008
