I wonder if the virus can sing and if yes, how can I record it ?

Oh yes they have quite a well formed pair of vocal cords and they do
hum very well. You will note though that it has been proven by the
springfield elementary science department that the noise will never
rise past 2.5decibels.

Further to the above the University of the third Age confirmed the
results but proved the absence of any american idol quality vocalists.

E.coli in particular are great singers but more importantly they make
their human hosts sing in the bathroom :)

Just kidding

I vaguely recall there are some such recordings on the web. Why not
look for them. And don't come back till you find them.

On last week's American Idol, Simon Calb told a virus that its singing
was so bad that it was making him sick.

So, in answer to your question, virus' can sing, just not very well...
