I have a Nikon SMZ-10 zoom binocular microscope and need one of the
screw on auxilliary lenses for the objective. Used to have one and have
misplaced it somewhere. Anyone out there have one, or know where I
might get a reasonable substitute?

Henry,  If memory serves that is a standard issue metric.  Go to a good
(underline good) hardware store and buy a replacement for less than a buck
or next time your in Atlanta give me a call and I'll take you to this great
hardware store.  You can get anykind of metric screw there.  Sometimes
hardware store don't even have metric, sigh.  Oh well, something else we
need to do in the New Year.

Everyone have a happy and save New Year!
