Hello,

does anyone know something about this minerals?

1. Mineral (600gramm)
http://www.zs-compuservice.de/min/100_0265.JPG
2. Mineral (1600gramm)
http://www.zs-compuservice.de/min/100_0268.JPG
3. Mineral (400gramm)

There scientific names, would be nice.

Thanks,

Sebastian

Sebastian,
Telling a mineral from photographic observation alone is a hazardous
business - but here are best educated guesses:
0265 looks like metallic silicon - but that does not occur naturally, so my
second guess (if it is narural) would be graphite - you might want to look
up the other properties of graphite to see if they check out.
0268 looks like some sort of carbonate - probably calcite, but the photo
isn't very useful - so you need to do some other tests (e.g. calcite would
fizz with dilute HCl)
0276 looks very much like quartz - but check the hardness and the density.
cheers
Bill

I agree with Bill that 265  looks like elemental silicon. Could also be
molybdenite, or a broken single crystal of pyrite. Specular hematite and
sperrylite (wouldn't that be nice?) are also candidates depends on the size
of your specimen.

268  has fractures that appear to be cleavage planes that intersect in a
triangular fashion. Could be fluorite.

276  does have one crystal with a hexagonal section, again, agree with Bill,

Even the most kindly-disposed "Fachman" wouldn't dare saying anything. J.J.

...or in plain English, an expert which has acquired his/her expertise by
study, research or self-culture.

I tought that the use of the German word was quite appropriate in this
case, the more that the translations found in bilingual dictionaries were
very wanting.
