Hi,

Do you guys know a good source to buy Yellow Orpiment powder in bulk
(like a few pounds)? Searching on the internet, I found only crystal
specimens for display (2" by 2") which go for a few hundred dollars!

Thanks,
-Kshana

The principal use of natural orpiment was as a pigment, mainly
in paints and ceramics. It is now superseded by artificial As sulfide,
named "king's yellow".

There are several suppliers, which you can find with:

You can contact the Chinese Arsenic Factory (no kidding!)
http://www.china-arsenic.com            (I doubt that they break drums
and there may be a hazmat issue)

                                  or
http://www.china-juitong.com    (another supplier of Arsenic and
Antimony)
