Thanks for encouragements. This site seems still (for a while) impervious
to obnoxious cranks, but be quite! they listen!...

I found interesting mineralogical questions (and people) on the site "Ask
a mineralogist" of the MSA. 'Seems to be mildly moderated, and could
perhaps be a template for something else.

They have also a mailing list, but restricted to members
