Hi all,
When I was a kid back in the '60s here in upstate New York, we were playing
in a sandy ravine that had been formed by erosion. I found a piece of rose
quartz that was somewhat roundish oval in shape, maybe 2" by 1-1/2". The
surface was smooth but had indentations. It reminded me of a soft piece of
wax that had been kneaded by hand. There were also one or two streaks of
gold running through it.
I lost the piece over the years and would like to replace it. I know there
is a lot of rose quartz on eBay. What would I search for to narrow the
resulsts?
Thanks.
Joe

Try tumble (tumbled) polished rose quartz.

Joe, Go back to the same sandy ravine (if it still exists). A rose quartz
pebble that you find there now will have greater value and meaning than any
that you can purchase. Will E.
