hello! My name is(lilskip). I have to do a project for my honors biology class and i have to interview a marine mammal biologist. here are a few questions, if you have time, that you can answer for me. Thanks a bunch! 1.) What skills and aptitudes are needed or helpful for this career? 2.) Why did you choose this career? 3.) Do you consider this job to be an important part of your daily activities(central to your life activity)? 4.) What type of training would a person need to succeed in a job like this? 5.) If you could change one thing in your job, what would it be? 6.) Describe the working conditions associated with this career? > hello! My name is(lilskip). What skills and aptitudes are needed or helpful for this career? One must not mind getting one's feet wet. I feel this to be a priority. Wellingtons and even waders can be quite a draw-back. > 2.) Why did you choose this career? Actually it was foist upon me when I wasn't looking. > 3.) Do you consider this job to be an important part of your daily > activities(central to your life activity)? No. In fact it barely registers on my central nervous system. A bit like breathing. (One can tend to get them mixed up. Especially if wearing wellies. Take time to sort them out in your mind before going out I say!) > 4.) What type of training would a person need to succeed in a job like > this? Swimming. Especially if prone to mixing up the answers to questions one and two. (See answer to question three.) > 5.) If you could change one thing in your job, what would it be? Work in warmer water. More bladder control. I don'y know, it's a difficult one, that. Both perhaps; I hear that rum is quite cheap in the Bahamas. > 6.) Describe the working conditions associated with this career? Cold and wet. Difficulty in breathing if one gets out of one's depth. Man eating shrimps or are there really gt white's over here? Where did I put my glasses? <SPLASH!> OOP<glug> |
