Group,
I could really use some help identifying a fiber optic patch
cable. The cable is about 1/2 meter (19 inches) long, green
jacket, and has the following wighting on it:
"549452 / 009 98 SUHNER FIBEROPTIC 1 x 9/125
01069 m"
I suspect it is a Suhner cable, but I couldn't find it on
their web site. What I need to know is the fiber optic
cable characteristics such as size, etc. Don't care about
connectors. I suspect that this is a single mode 9/125
micron cable, but I would like to confirm that and get any
other info I can.
Thanks for your help.

You are right : it is a singlemode fiber cable, standard SMF G652.
Attenuation, etc., only real measurements will give you the actual
numbers.

Judging on the fiber size 9/125 this appears to be a single mode fiber 9 micron with a cladding outside diameter of 125 micron
