Hi,

I need to identify the manufacturer (and ideally product ID) of a fiber
cable. Its diameter is about 14mm, the plastic coating is in yellow
color and approx. 1-2mm thick. Inside this, there are 8 small tubes
(surrounding a plastic core) containing strands. 6 tubes are white, one
is blue and one red.

Unfortunately there is no vendor name/logo imprinted on the cable, just
the following:

DB-1500 FOTS CABLE  H F 008S96 GLU LFH

Corning told me they are quite sure that this ain't a cable of theirs.
Any other relevant vendors I could ask?

Best regards,
Daniel

I think those are not corning cables neither..
I am chinese manufacture in optical fiber products. The corning cable
that I bought are the well imprinted the logos ,so did other cable..And
contain SM or MM ,4 (6,8,12...)core...etc..
The colors you discribe are not same as corning cables..

Hope you will find the right manufacture..

regards

Hello,
Colour coding is typically Dutch (the Netherlands). Also 1.5 mm yellow
sheath is common in the Netherlands.
The marking I cannot recognize, sorry.

Greetings,
Arnie
