I'm using an 8 mm plano-convex lens in a product, $25@ in our
small volume. I'm hoping to find a plastic drop-in at a lower price.
I can have one custom made in China, but the saving would be small at
our volume.

Be aware: The G-S website is not up to date. They revised their standard
lens catalog and only manufacture/support lenses in the "1000" series. So
most of the lenses are not available as catalog lenses.
