Los Angeles climate in 50 to 100 years

Hello,

I have the following question: Does anybody have information on what
people involved in climate research "forecast" the climate for Los
Angeles to be in 50 to 100 years? Which other city or region in the
world of today will it resemble? I would be very grateful for any
information on this question or hints on where to find info on it.

Thanks,

Marc

My wife (who sells real estate) comes to me and asks me to speculate
with her how much and where the sea will encroach on the NY area due to
global warming, who's going to get flooded, and shouldn't we move to
Vermont (Brattleboro would be nice).
There are probably climatology newsgroups where this might be argued
for days, but as it is barely tangentially on topic here, I'd just say
that from what I've heard, the credible predictions don't work like
that, just like the cold snap we've had in NY the last couple of weeks
doesn't disprove global warming.  There's just too much variation in the
predictions of climate change globally.  When I hear someone trying to
make specific recommendations for a particular place, I just assume
they're pretty much totally useless.
