I believe Lipleurodon, also a pliosaur, was about 8 meters longer than
this new critter. That would give it a significant size advantage over
Meg (given current estimates of around 13 m total for the shark), but
size is not everything.  Meg might win on quickness and
maneuverability.   This kind of stuff is fun to think about, even if
we'll never know.
