fossil identification help?

Hello,
I found some fossils at Mazon Creek in Illinois, and I was wondering
if anybody knew what they were. Here are some pictures (it's all one
fossil) -

I don't know that it is a fossil. It may, indeed, be a bit of fossil
debris, something else poorly preserved or a concretion with a mineralized
nucleus. From the level of detail in the pictures, it would be difficult to
say though
I'm leaning toward mineralization from what little that can be seen.

You may want to go to Google images and search under "mazon creek" (fossil
OR
concretion) and see if anything shown there is suggestive.
