Hello, all!

I want to enter a Paleo degree program at an European university and
wondered if there was a ranking system somewhat like the American US
News & World Report or others that show which universities have the
best or most comprehensive Earth Sciences/Geology/Paleo programs. Any
assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello!

There is no such ranking system to my knowledge in Europe. But there is not
so many Earth Sciences Labs with comprehensive geological teaching programs,
too! So: Google is your best friend!...

But first, try this one: that's mine! -- and of course, that's the best
one!... ;-))

I came across the claim that during the last ice age no hard wood could be
found in Southern France. I thought that was nuts. I know that softwood does
not equal soft wood. Anybody have any more exact data?
