That's really funny. The article says this animal was being sold for
meat on street corners! This is hilarious, what people in Laos thought
as an ordinary everyday animal the most knowledgeable paleontologists
in America thought to be extinct. This article is a nice wake-up call
to show us just how little we really do know about our own planet.

In defense of what we do know, Laos is not exactly at the top of my travel
agency's list of must see countries.
