Hi, folks -
I've created a simple cladistic program for use in my paleontology
class as a lab exercise. Please try it out and let me know what you
think. It's freely available at:
http://www.guilford.edu/geology/simpleclade/
I'd be very interested in comments, critiques, feature requests, sample
data files, etc.
Sorry if this is an inappropriate group for posting. Let me know if
there's a better place (newsgroup, mailing list, website, whatever) to
send it to, and feel free to pass it along to your friends, students,
and colleagues.
Sincerely,
Dave Dobson

I just wanted to say I enjoyed fiddling around with the thingie.
It would be neat if the trees you arrange could be written to pdf.

Sounds good; I'll see if I can add that, or at least a copy button to
copy the image as a bitmap. You can currently copy the SimpleClade
screen by hitting alt-PrtSc and paste it into a document, but that's a
little cheesy.
Thanks for the feeback!
Sincerely,
Dave
