I would appreciate a recommendation for a book, or books, in English
that cover the ecology of the Cretaceous period - particularly in North
America (and especially eastern North America), but coverage of other
parts of the world during this time would be welcome. I'm interested in
a book with specific details about geological/geographical features as
well as species of flora and fauna.

TIA.

It's more general than what you ask about, but I rather like Terrestrial
Ecosystems Through Time, edited by Behrensmeyer and a bunch of others,
from U. of Chicago Press, 1992. It's probably both out of date and out
of print, though.
