In any case, the meat is in section 3. Up to my knowledge, no theory -
fringe or standard- has been able to get n=3 from a simpler postulate.
The best traveling theories postulate a group wide enough to contain 3
generations and some Z_3 symmetry or some triality, but the group
itself is still a big postulate with a lot more of structure. Some
others need to postulate explicit compactification mechanisms and
manifolds in extra dimensions. This one, which I call sBootstrap, does
not add structure except perhaps two or three very massive charge 4/3
objects, and most probably they can be blocked under some symmetry
argument.
