A recent experiment gave better results when it was assumed that the
subatomic particle which was about to be measured existed in a
randomized state (ie not yet "real" or actualized) prior to
measurement.
IOWs the wave function did not collapse and the particle was not
"real" until observed.
(And of course it's entangled sister particle many light years distant
did not become real until that moment of observation either).
Spooky?  No, not at all.  It is the opposite result which would be
strange.
If a particle was to be "real" when I observed it, then it must have
been "real" an instant before I observed it.  Should we then expect
that this second "reality" must match the reality at the time of
observation?  No.  If the reality of observation must match the real
"reality" existing an instant before observation then the future is
(or was) preordained (and I saw the future).  That would be spooky or
strange.
It is true that my observation created a unique universe---a universe
that could have been otherwise.  And, yes that uniqueness extends to
the whole universe.
But what is so strange about that? I just created a unique universe by
posting this message-------this is now a universe (the only one?) in
which Rushtown posted a message entitled "Quantum wierdness & "spooky"
action are not strange at all."

Hey, man, I just figured out the universe and you don't spend the time
to understand.

You 'think' you figured it out but in reality there is no such thing as
the 'Universe' Quantum Physics has demonstrated this and at least 11
dimensions of existence.

OK, but I see that you have figured it out.  At least one of was able
to do it.

Better one than none. Tutoring is available for $1000.00 US Funds per

Here you mess up.

If the future were preordained, the past would have to be too. Since the
past cannot be preordained, the future could not be so either.

Since I can read, you, the Universe you mention does exist. Therefore you
are GOD!

So now I have one disciple.  I think I need two in California to start
my own religion.
Our religion has one tenet (at present)--"It does not matter".

Nice one! But hey, I am not in California, I would be willing to fly over
there, but i would need some...ehm... ticket prefund :-)
