What a totally cool Tesla coil! I haven't seen one of this magnitude
for years!
One of the Cleveland high schools had one about this size that someone
built in the distant past that usually appeared at the yearly science
fair. Can crushers and Thomas Townsend Brown Flyers very cool as
well.

Love this stuff! Too bad owning or operating most of it is a felony in
the USA these days! Now you can't even build a model rocket without
going to jail. No problem, we'll just let the Aussies invent and
design the stuff we send to be built in China.

Where does that come from?

The only things I saw that would get any attention is the stuff
generating sparks IF it generated enough RFI to cause interference
and IF someone complained about it, in which case you would just
be told to turn it off.

As for rockets, launching them in populated areas is generally
not a good idea, but buiding one certainly isn't illegal.
