PIECING A VIRUS TOGETHER
A virus's genome is protected in a protein shell called a capsid.
Capsids have a wide variety of shapes and sizes, but in the May
Physical Review E researchers report that capsid structures from
many virus families can be constructed using just a single shape,
a trapezoid. Their analysis provides an explanation for this common
structure based purely on geometry and topology, suggesting that
mathematics could be the driving force behind capsid design and
evolution.

mathematics IS NO FORCE.

Sure it is,
It is used for the cause of clocks and half-life slowing down all the time..
LOL
Timing (time) is a mathematical counting system
1 2 3 4 5 etc...
when someone says time changed rate.
the counting system change rate.
that means the math counting system changed rate.
1......2......3......4......5 etc..
That in turn is stating that...
The change in the counting systems rate was caused by a change
in the counting systems rate..
LOL
Gotta love time dilation crap physics that won't look for
the physical cause itself!
Time travel, all powered by the force of math!
NOT!
:)
Use the force Luke!
