If there were life on Mars, Nasa's budget would go through the roof. Why
should they cover up something that would fill their pockets with
greenbacks?

Why would they cover it up anyway? How stupid...

Of course, they're all in cahoots with the Illuminati or the Freemasons,
for international world domination, just like Spectre, in the old James
Bond movies. It might also be the Brotherhood of The Grail, from
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. ;) Have I forgotten any important
Conspiracy Organizations?
Earlier this year, I saw a fascinating British documentary on PBS, about
how the Nazis did in fact have an experimental saucer shaped flyer. It
was some kind of helicopter, with a huge fan blade in the center of a
torus, and the fuselage around the outside.
I can't remember whether we tried it after the war, but I think we gave
it a brief test, and then moved on. I don't recall if the reason we
gave up was because something was wrong with the concept, or if the
guv'mint just had other budget priorities for test aircraft.
There's also a ten dollar plastic toy, that's four inches across and
flies off a little launcher, which I've seen Letterman use on his show.
I wouldn't know what to call it, but "propdisk" sounds passable.
Replace the prop with downward facing jet engines, and you might have
something really bitchin'.

The evidence for life on Mars is clear. This is something that has
been known for more than 50 years.
NASA has instituted a massive cover-up and is in collusion with
Hollywood film makers to deceive the public.

This post may be a joke, and if so it's funny, but just in
case it's not a joke, why would Hollywood film makers
want to cover up life on mars?

Oh, they're STILL trying to cover up the fact that
the so-called "Apollo Program/Moon Landings" were
a gigantic hoax! Those films of "astronauts"
bounding about the "Moon" were NOT filmed
on the Moon....
They were in fact filmed on a sound stage near
the south pole of Pluto. If you freeze frames
23019, 29488, 349012, and 41998, you can clearly
see where a careless editor neglected to airbrush
Charon out of the frame.

As it's been pointed out, if NASA could provide evidence of life on
another planet, their budget would go through the roof!
What would be their motive in supressing this?
