In the deduction of his famous conclusion "Entropy always increases"
Clausius used as a premise the oxymoron "ANY IRREVERSIBLE PROCESS CAN
BE CLOSED INTO A CYCLE BY A REVERSIBLE PROCESS". Later Clausius
abandoned the conclusion but other postscientists did not. They
developed it into a science which is as clear and enlightening as
described in
http://philsci-archive.pitt.edu/archive/00000313/ .

In his 1905 paper Einstein showed that EITHER CLOCK RUNS SLOWER THAN
THE OTHER BUT THE ONE AT REST RUNS FASTER THAN THE TRAVELLING ONE. Then
he developed the second half of this double oxymoron into a theory
while the public were dreaming of countering time through travelling.

In Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus Wittgenstein LAID THE FOUNDATIONS OF
A TRUTH-FUNCTIONAL LOGIC AND ADDED THAT (5.122) IF P FOLLOWS FROM Q,
THE SENSE OF 'P' IS CONTAINED IN THE SENSE OF 'Q'. The application of
the truth-functional logic to the non-truth-functional world (defined
by 5.122) can be called Postlogicism.

Well, Clausis only said that because he was a
military theorist. And it's TRUE on TV, so it's
not an oxymoron, it's a Karl Marx moron.

But Wittengestein was laying the foundations for
1930 quantum mechanics. And 1930 Quantum Mechanics
is far deader than Australia, Mel Gibson, and
 Hawking Entropy.

Claus of Innsbruck should cast this rarity in bronze,
IMHO.
