It would take me too much time to try to figure out if he is for real.
Others could do it faster. I say it's 50-50. I am sitting on the fence
there. Too busy with my own stuff.

Re Podkletnov:

"I did two audio interviews with him in mid 2004 -- they're online if
you can play Windows Media audio files. He sounds straightfoward in the
interviews --claiming to have massive output from his pulse-discharge
experiment across the superconducting globe (basically a 2MEV
Marx-discharge across a spark gap running into the gigawatt range for
the pulse). However, the guy doesn't want to produce evidence. I guess
it comes down to whether or not he sounds sincere on tape.

When we taped the interview, I didn't realize that he was going to make
that claim, so it's basically a spontaneous admission on his part -- not
staged or anything.

It would be interesting to get your insight as a scientist, since the
most I can say as the interview is "he seems pretty honest". Not very
definitive...

One of the guys at STAIF last year suggested that HFGW's might be
self-rectifying: if so, we'd wondered if maybe that's how Podkletnov was
creating a beam."

Is the claim that the effective coupling to matter increases for HFGW?
Ordinary LFGW is much too weak for propulsion as seen in LIGO/LISA. I
need to see the math.

Some kind of inverse Josephson effect where EM AC converts to
geometrodynamic current from EM phase lock to vacuum Goldstone phases
that determine the tetrad field. I am thinking aloud here - half-baked.

e = 1 + B = tetrad 1-form square root of Einstein's metric ds^2 =
guvdx^udx^v

guv(Curved) = eu^a(Flat)abev^b  is EEP

B = (hG/c^3)^1/2[(dtheta)(phi) - (theta)(dphi)]    non-closed 1-form

A =  (hG/c^3)^1/2dB = 2(hG/c^3)(dtheta)/\(dphi) =/= 0

dA = 0

A is the geometrodynamic area flux density 2-form

Integral of A over a non-bounding 2-cycle (without boundary) = 2Lp^2
(Integer Wrapping Number)

Here the vacuum manifold V(Planck) = G(incoherent vacuum)/H(coherent
vacuum) = S2   point defects

This also gives "volume-without-volume" "world hologram" of 'Hooft &
Susskind.

In 1915 GR

W = -*[dB/\(1 - B)] = spin connection 1-form

D = d + W/\  = Diff(4) covariant exterior derivative

T = De = 0 vanishing torsion  2-form---> /\ = uniform Einstein
cosmological constant

R = DW = tidal geodesic deviation curvature 2-form

G = *R = Einstein 2-form

DG = 0  Bianchi identity corollary

G = *J  = Einstein source eq. i.e. Guv = kTuv

DG = D*J = 0 is local matter current conservation, i.e.  Guv^;v = 0 --->
Tuv^;v = 0

B here in e = 1 + B is analogous to A in U(1) EM.

That is B is from local gauging of T4 in same way that A is from local
gauging of U(1)

However, EEP makes the difference that whilst A is the connection field
for EM, in contrast in GR

W = -*[dB/\(1 - B)] is the torsion free spin connection from which one
gets the Levi-Civita connection.

To be accepted scientific experiments have to be reproducible.  People
have tried but have been unable to repeat his results.  Even if he
wanted to keep the design of his transmitters secret the targets
mentioned in his papers are simple and do not need keeping secret.
Filming these to produce evidence of his claims would be easy.  No such
film has been released and he does not allow journalists to make their
own recordings.

Recommendation - treat as a hoax.
