Hi!
I am trying to analyze the concentration of iodine in Iodixanol (see
molecule in the following link)
http://dmd.aspetjournals.org/cgi/content/full/27/10/1205/F1

The analysis that I am developing is the determination of this iodine
by Cathodic Stripping Voltammetry in a Hanging Mercury Electrode.
However, I have to isolate the iodine first as iodide or iodate from
the molecule. Does anybody know any sample digestion - process which
by I can isolate the halides from the molecule?

Thanks

Zinc in dilute HCl should reduce them all to iodide (hopefully)
