How magnesium ethoxide give a cycloaddition reaction and in which
conditions? Can you suggest a suitable mechanism for this?It behaves as
a grignard reagent?

First off, Mg ethoxide does not have the formula given in the subject
title.  It is just Mg(OEt)2.

With what does it give a "cycloaddition" reaction?  Ether?  Carbonyl
compouns?  Itself?  Be more specific and there may be more replies.  I
will venture to say that Mg(OEt)2 does NOT act as a Grignard reagent
because it's not a "carbon" base.
