Hi,

I'm discovering this forum and begin with a question...

I'm looking for a recristallisation method for glutaric anhydride;
reflux in ether seems to give poor yields

any idea would be of interest

regards
David

Ok thank you Brian

I finally found that glutaric anhydride have a very poor solubility in
ether, so you hae to use large amounts of solvant and reproduce the
recristallisation at least two times
