I have recently tried to make 3,4-dimethylpyrrole using ethylcarbamate and
butadiene from a procedure from Bulletin of the chemical society og Japan
from around 1965. I have also tried to find the ethylcarboxylate ester of
3,4-dimethylpyrrole because of its higher stability but there only exists
small amounts from Sigma in US

Is there anyone which might know of some who made this, prefereable the
ester for some purpose, which I can purchase. I need approx. 1 gram of the
compound.
