| Acoustic propagation | 30 Mar 2006 19:45 GMT | 6 |
I am not sure about this, so I wanted to confirm about this. If two acoustic signals interfere along their path, but the receiver is not in the interfering region (e.g. the direction of propagation is opposite for both signal) will the signal still be receiver faithfully

| ANC Headset | 29 Mar 2006 02:06 GMT | 3 |
I am currently looking for some information about digital ANC Headsets. I have bought an ANC book from KUO Active noise control. But in conjunction with ANC headsets there is only one chapter. Therefore I have done some more inquiries and found an really interesting Paper.

| Noise Isolation using Inflatable Disk | 29 Mar 2006 01:38 GMT | 5 |
I'm looking into the possibility of using a 32 feet diameter by 8 feet thick transparent, inflatable disk to provide noise isolation between two spaces connected by a 32 feet diameter overlook. The analysis looks good. Anyone know if this has been done before?

| Resonance of eardrum | 25 Mar 2006 15:38 GMT | 2 |
In my physics class we are having a discussion about how the eardrum works. We understand that the eardrum vibrates and that vibration is transferred through the ear and eventually interpreted as sound. Our question is "Does the eardrum vibrate at every frequency from 20 Hz to

Hello! Everyone I have a curious things about compressor noise.
>From measurement the blade passing frequency of impeller is identified as dominant noise source. There are many peaks of BPF in spectral graph

| Simulating Guitar Feedback | 10 Mar 2006 01:50 GMT | 3 |
When I hold my guitar close to my amp I get feedback and using effect pedals it is possible for me to color this feedback, and it is also quite possible, although not always easy, to create feedback which is esthetically pleasing. What I'm interested in doing is creating an

| Connector Cable for Sony Walkmen TCD-D100- to -TCD-D3?? | 01 Mar 2006 02:32 GMT | 4 |
I have some personally recorded data on DAT tape (outdoor sounds) that I want to copy onto another digital tape. That recorded data stream includes (per the TCD-D100) the real time of recording, which is great for data reduction.
