Nitrogen production from sodium nitrite and sulfamic acid.01 Oct 2004 16:32 GMT4
I am trying to produce nitrogen gas using sodium nitrite and sulfamic acid.
I have heard that a possible side reaction could form nitrogen dioxide.
This would not be good since this is a toxic gas (smog).
I also heard that if water is present during the original reaction of sodium
