| TBAP purification | 31 Oct 2003 15:30 GMT | 1 |
Could someone give me a protocol for the purification of TBAP from Aldrich. TBAP, that i have in my laboratory, used as a supporting electrolyte, gives a strong signal due probably to the presence of an impurity in it.

| coating strength - electroplated vs. electroless | 29 Oct 2003 12:37 GMT | 4 |
Would someone point me to a source for information on this, please? Ideally it would be a table for various methods and metals. Google, et. al. gives me too much info. Is there a rule of thumb for this?

| Ni-Cd Vs Ni-MH | 28 Oct 2003 16:00 GMT | 4 |
The manual for my HP Photosmart camera ( the design is at least 5 years old) tells me not to use rechargeable batteries. Recently I replaced the 4-AA 1.5V batteries with 4-AA 800mAh 1.2V Ni-Cd batteries and they performed very well - they lasted longer than the originals. I have ...

| 20 NiMH in Series | 23 Oct 2003 10:45 GMT | 2 |
Does anyone know why you shouldn't connect 20 or more NiMH prismatic cells in series? It says not to on the packet the battery came in. What is the difference between 19 and 20 cells? (1.2V I realise), but why is it not permissable?
