What happens if you short circuit a badderee with zero internal resistance?
Any copper-oxidizing batteries?02 Jun 2004 10:52 GMT5
As a consumable ... anode, I think ...
copper wouldn't oxidize very energetically,
the cell voltage would be low,
but one would have to like the anode conductivity.
Badderees02 Jun 2004 10:50 GMT1
what kind of non-rechargeable badderees recharge the best? Mercury, alkaline,
lithium, ...?? How would you recharge them?
Badderees02 Jun 2004 10:42 GMT6
Non-Rechargeable Badderees are way too expensive, even if you could manage to
recharge them 5 times, they still cost $150 per Kilowatt-hour. Even
rechargeable badderees cost $20 or so per kWh. Is there a way to get badderee
power for less than a few dollars per kWh? I'm sick and ...
Water purification with electrolysis and synthesis02 Jun 2004 01:03 GMT2
[reposted, last one didn't seem to go up]
Hi,
I am trying to find a good method to purify water.  I was wondering if
there is any reason why I couldn't use electrolysis to split water
Charging a batterypack01 Jun 2004 21:11 GMT1
Dear group,
I have the Olympus Camedia E-10 digital SLR. It is notorious for it's
poor power efficiency on 4 AAs. Currently, I use four 2300mAh NiMH
rechargables, and charge them using a Uniross Sprint 1->2 hour charger
battery survey01 Jun 2004 02:34 GMT2
Do you prefer Rechargeable or Non-Rechargeable batteries?
If you answered Rechargeable, do you prefer NiCads or NiMH's?
If you answered Non-rechargeables, do you prefer Energizer or Duracell or
Other? Do you prefer Alkaline or Carbon-Zinc?
