As a consumable ... anode, I think ... copper wouldn't oxidize very energetically, the cell voltage would be low, but one would have to like the anode conductivity.

what kind of non-rechargeable badderees recharge the best? Mercury, alkaline, lithium, ...?? How would you recharge them?

Non-Rechargeable Badderees are way too expensive, even if you could manage to recharge them 5 times, they still cost $150 per Kilowatt-hour. Even rechargeable badderees cost $20 or so per kWh. Is there a way to get badderee power for less than a few dollars per kWh? I'm sick and ...

Dear group, I have the Olympus Camedia E-10 digital SLR. It is notorious for it's poor power efficiency on 4 AAs. Currently, I use four 2300mAh NiMH rechargables, and charge them using a Uniross Sprint 1->2 hour charger

Do you prefer Rechargeable or Non-Rechargeable batteries? If you answered Rechargeable, do you prefer NiCads or NiMH's? If you answered Non-rechargeables, do you prefer Energizer or Duracell or Other? Do you prefer Alkaline or Carbon-Zinc?
