Relationship between charger input and power stored in cell (efficiency)15 Aug 2004 11:52 GMT1
I have just bought some nice 2100 mah AAs, and a not so nice TL960
battery charger (see
http://www.amondotech.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=526).
Basically the charger seems to have a very simple 10 hour timer (i.e.
Fire Alarm Battery14 Aug 2004 00:32 GMT7
I heard a superstition/curse from a friend that you should never install a Fire
Alarm Battery (or any other critical battery) on Sunday, or it will be more

a Li-ion cell should be charged using a constant current, then
constant voltage method but am not sure of which IC to use for this.
Creating Copper Chloride by Electrolysis of Saltwater07 Aug 2004 00:00 GMT2
I've tried to create copper chloride using copper electrodes in water
with dissolved iodized table salt.  The water becomes dark green
within the first 15-20 minutes using 12 vdc from a computer ps.  It
then becomes red.  From what I've read about copper chloride, it
Lithium rechargeable batteries05 Aug 2004 20:11 GMT1
Having a (surefire) flashlight which uses 3 123A (3V lithium) batteries
(which in Europe costs about 3.5€, like 3.7$ each), I was wondering if
there is any way to make my flashlight rechargeable.
It seems that there is not still any 123A rechargeable battery (is it
Which wavelengths do water absorbs?02 Aug 2004 23:27 GMT1
Greets to All
I'm trying to find out which wavelengths distilled water absorbs?  Also if someone can recommend
a machine at a very low price in which I can test these samples myself.
TIA
