I heard a superstition/curse from a friend that you should never install a Fire Alarm Battery (or any other critical battery) on Sunday, or it will be more likely to fail. Anyone heard about it?

Having a (surefire) flashlight which uses 3 123A (3V lithium) batteries (which in Europe costs about 3.5€, like 3.7$ each), I was wondering if there is any way to make my flashlight rechargeable. It seems that there is not still any 123A rechargeable battery (is it
