| Tafel constants for predominately non-aqeous solutions | 30 Sep 2004 13:19 GMT | 1 |
I would like to estimate the tafel constants of three solutions containing about 20% water in glycol. Can anyone provide any basic guidelines for the expected value range of tafel constants in predominately non-aqueous solutions? Thanks in advance.

| finding a variable voltage batt pack from 1.2 V batts | 22 Sep 2004 22:56 GMT | 1 |
I have a number of electronics that need charging at different voltages (from 4.2 to 16V, 0.5 to 2.5 A needed). Because I'm planning to take these things with me in the outdoors and only have an AA car charger available I was thinking of putting a number of NiMH batteries

| NiMH vs. NiCD Recharge Issues | 11 Sep 2004 10:49 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone have any idea of what happens to NiMH when charged with solar charges? I am thinking about NiMH in a black plastic casing with a solar panel to recharge. I read that there are issues at temps over 30C, and daytime temps can get up to about 45C external, and

Having accumulated several devices using 3 AAA cells, I decided to begin using NiMH instead of alkaline. (I've used NiMH in AA since they became available, and NiCd in all common sizes long before that.) My problem is getting them to charge completely.
