About 4 months ago I was charging a 12V Lead Acid battery when the charging
wire came loose and short circuited it. Within seconds, there was a lot of

I'm looking for a recommendation on a battery charger.
I'm not familiar with the brand names and I'm a bit
"electrically challenged" so I've found searching a bit
confusing.

I am interested in fast charging an NiMH 10-D-cell pack, each cell
with a capacity of 9500mAH.
I can find smart NiMH 2 amp chargers for 5-8 cells, but not 10.  That
means I would have to buy two chargers.
