I need a battery for the phone, it's sony and it says: "to reduce risk
of fire use only sony BP-T18"
the battery looks just like 3 AA cells, I suppose they're NICd batteries.
now, is it ok if I buy (or make myself) something else and put in there?

When using rechargable batteries in a sealed container they build up
pressure due to off gassing during charge and dis charge. I understand there
is a catalyst that can be added to the container that will stop this, what
is it and where can it be obtained?

I have a dead cellphone which i need to get up and running without a

find any information on how to simulate a Li-ion battery so that i
could power my cellphone from normal batteries or a transformer.
