effects in aqueous solutions.
Thanks.
info requested on nimh/nicd charging30 Mar 2005 03:47 GMT2
I understand that one of the common methods for termination of fast
charge is the delta V technique. Kindly clarify the following :
1. Is the voltage to be monitored while charging current is flowing or after
switching it off briefly?
Sony BCG-34HNB battery charger question ...29 Mar 2005 23:05 GMT1
Preamble:
*********
While traveling in rural India recently, my GP NiMH (model GPKB34P)

3V Lithium with leads attached29 Mar 2005 13:59 GMT3
I need to find a source of 3V Lithium (it's identical to a commona
photo battery, but I don't have one in front of me to say the model).
The existing battery has small wire leads attached, so it can be
soldered in place.
Help ! (about Nernst equation)29 Mar 2005 13:55 GMT5
Help ! I'm confused. Could someone tell me how to
apply the Nernst equation to a FeCl3 standard
solution of 1 g/l (as Fe) to calculate its
equilibrium potential and compare it against
NiMH questions26 Mar 2005 00:19 GMT3
I have some rechargable Lenmar NiMH batteries (2000 mAh, AA) that do not
seem to hold their charge.  Even with no use whatsoever, they seem to be
dead a day or two after a full recharge.  I get only a few minutes of use
from them when I put them in my camera (Nikon Coolpix 2100) ...
12VDC Deep Cycle Charging with DC powered system question25 Mar 2005 05:51 GMT10
I hope some folks in this group have the expertise to help me on this
question.
I am an RV'er that likes to dry camp, and I carry (4) 115AH 12VDC
batteries.  I am an artist and I use some power, OK?
Charging sealed lead acid batteries24 Mar 2005 01:35 GMT3
Re: 12v 7ah SLA batteries
I would like to be able to recharge 12v sealed lead acid batteries
in parallel about 6 at a time.
Can anyone tell me if this is feasible?  and what would be the voltage
Values of exiting charging status of NiMH batteries21 Mar 2005 14:46 GMT15
I've got a battery charger without any microcontroler.
Can anybody tell me at which point the NiMH battery is fully charged?
Something like 1.35 V or Ampere.

Books about photoelectrochemical measures ?19 Mar 2005 13:40 GMT2
I often want to measure the photoelectrochemical character of an
electrode.but i don't know the perfect measurement method .
please recommend a professional book.
thanks !
Oxygen getter18 Mar 2005 20:22 GMT13
Is there anything that will neutralize O2 in water (as sodium
sulfite will) but not actually dissolve in the water?
Electroplating question17 Mar 2005 21:48 GMT5
I have some questions about plating, and was hoping someone here could help?
When plating Lead Dioxide onto an anode from a lead nitrate bath, I have
read that a small amount of copper nitrate be added to the bath to inhibit
deposition of lead onto the cathode. I believe that the ...
conductivity question17 Mar 2005 09:09 GMT2
I am a beginner in the conductivity measurement field and I need a hint
for my problem.
I am trying to measure the conductivity of liquids with an instrument
that I built. It has the following specs:
CRV3 lithium maximum cell voltage vs. RCRV317 Mar 2005 03:23 GMT1
I have a digital camera that can use lithium CRV3 and wonder what
maximum cell voltage it might accept (it ought to accept the maximum
one can get from a new lithium CRV3). I want to know this just to able
to decide if I can safely use a Li-Ion RCRV3. Different brands seems
Water Dissociation15 Mar 2005 16:41 GMT6
I have a novel idea of water dissociation by magnetic resonance. I need
help from an individual or a group of electrochemists who would further
develop this idea and possess or have access to laboratory instruments.
I am in Southern California right now.
