| aluminum battery | 31 May 2005 14:13 GMT | 1 |
I wrote to Frost and Sullivan to ask them if they just awarded Europositron the award based on a business plan, or if they really evaluated the technology. I got the following answer from the man who did the evaluation:

| Battery Acid Spray | 31 May 2005 02:48 GMT | 4 |
Hey today I was recharging non-rechargeables using a lead acid battery. Within 5 seconds the battery got hot, so I disconnected it. When the battery was cool again, I reconnect it, and there was a rather nasty spray. Battery acid spewed from the negative terminal. It missed my eye

| Lithium Manganese Dioxide Transportation | 30 May 2005 16:43 GMT | 5 |
I need to understand the shipping regulations for LiMnO2 batteries. I want to use several of the 123 camera battery in a product, and may want to ship one or more of the products at one time, with batteries. Shipping by air cargo and passenger air are my main concerns.

| Lead/acid OCV change with age? | 28 May 2005 00:44 GMT | 1 |
I've looked and looked for real data about how fully charged Open Circuit Voltage changes with age or cycles for a lead acid battery. Much of the common wisdom about matching batteries in banks implies that OCV will change with age. Does plate composition change with time?

| 12V 1500Ah (Not Trojan T105) | 27 May 2005 02:48 GMT | 9 |
OK, Seeing as the topic I started veered off into territory not useful to me, I will ask a different question here. Does anyone know of a 12V Deep Cycle battery that has a capacity of

| 12V Deep Cycle 1500Ah | 25 May 2005 15:34 GMT | 30 |
I need 12V, 1500Ah to run a large inverter. To make a 12V, 1500Ah battery bank, ideally you would go for 6x 2V, 1500Ah cells in series to give you 12V, 1500Ah. The problem is that these cells are very expensive, and I am looking for a more budget

| Currentless AU plating | 25 May 2005 01:58 GMT | 1 |
Is there somebody here who has experience in currentless plating? We have an application where we want to plate Au on polythene. Can this be done? I know people do it with Ag, using a reducing solution.

| MAX712 not terminating fast charge | 21 May 2005 03:40 GMT | 1 |
I was trying the standard nimh charger using max712 at about c/2 rate. It does not seem to terminate the charge even after the battery getting very warm. I tried 700mah and 2200mah nicd and 2100 mah nimh. It simply goes on charging. I vented one of the 700mah cells in the ...
