leaking battery color23 Aug 2006 03:39 GMT4
What is battery leakage like, what color or property?
sense electrode21 Aug 2006 15:14 GMT1
I am looking for information regarding the 'sense electrode' in cyclic
voltammetry. I am usnig the system with the potentiostat (Autolab with
PGSTAT30) and 4 electrodes (working and auxilary - Pt, refference: Ag/AgCl
and the sense one connected to the working one).
How to clean Lithium foil (pure lithium)18 Aug 2006 12:30 GMT2
I am planning to use lithium foils to do studies with lithium for
battery research. I am in process of setting up the lab right now. I
heard that lithium can be stored in mineral oil. If so how can I clean
them before use in a cell. I have to do cyclic voltametry intially in
VRLA - Voltage vs State-of-Charge, Temperature15 Aug 2006 23:15 GMT3
I'd like to determine the state-of-charge (SOC) of a small-ish (around
4Ah, 12V) VRLA battery in a solar-powered application. I'm trying to
use as little power as possible. I'm aware there is a relationship
between cell voltage and SOC, but judging by the graphs in various
charging disposable batteries14 Aug 2006 22:13 GMT7
My friend charges disposable Energizer batteries with a Panasonic
recharger unit and says he hasn't had any problems.  It might be a
NiCd charger.
Is it OK?
Rechargeable Ni-MH Battery Capacities14 Aug 2006 19:36 GMT6
Energizer AA batteries seem to have a rated 2500 mAh of capacity,
which is oddly the same mAh as their current rechargeable D size
battery.
It is possible that their AA's are good enough to have the same

NiMH internal resistance vs recharge/discharge cycles13 Aug 2006 23:45 GMT1
What is the expected rise in internal resistance of NiMH batteries as
the number of recharge/discharge cycles increases ?  Looking at several
datasheet of NiMH AA batteries, most manufactures specify an internal
resistance in charge state to be 0.025 ohms. I have some used AA ...

Whats an easy way to turn my 7.2 V li into 6v to power some bike
lights, other than making a resistor based voltage divider?can you buy
some kind of inline product or an Ic for variable voltage?Am not that

Sennheiser BA 151 Battery06 Aug 2006 02:28 GMT3
I have a pair of wireless Sennheiser headsets HDR 40 which is missing the
battery pack which I think is a BA151 (2.5V NiMH).
I don't know if the headsets works so I would like to apply a test voltage
across the terminals inside the headset which are not marked.
charging NiCd in NiMH charger05 Aug 2006 16:22 GMT3
I have a friend that has a mix of NiCd and NiMH batteries and doesn't
seem to understand that they use different chargers (or the switch on
the charger needs to be set right to either NiCd or NiMH).
He will charge a mix of both NiCd and NiMH in the same charger, or
interrupted charging - info needed04 Aug 2006 09:32 GMT1
I've been playing around with batts for about 2 years now.
I am using a max712 charger for 2100 mah nimh cells. Our area has
frequent power failures. What will be effect of such power failures
during
Replacing NiCd with NiMH03 Aug 2006 13:24 GMT7
Guys,
my cordless phone's NiCd are about as dead as can be from the memory
effect... Now I found a NiMh battery pack for very cheap... same
voltage ..
