State-of-the art in 18650 consumer Li-Ion27 Mar 2008 13:19 GMT3
I'm trying to figure out what the state-of-the art in market-available
consumer Li-Ion technology is as far as energy density goes.
As far as I know, the highest energy density (mass produced) is 18650
form factor. Please correct me if I am wrong.
DustBuster Voltage?25 Mar 2008 17:10 GMT3
Maybe someone can further my electrical education.  I thought I knew
everything about basic E=IR stuff, but apparently I do not.  :)
The scenario:
Black and Decker Dustbuster 3.6 volt DC,  model HV3000.

Platinum processing21 Mar 2008 14:48 GMT1
Hi All.  Just found out platinum is over $2000 and ounce.  Long time ago, I
built a metal detector that was very good at finding platinum ore.  At the
time, I wasn't too interested in processing it and professional processors
were too expensive.  Things have changed.  The process ...
unevenlyl discharged NiMH batteries11 Mar 2008 00:53 GMT6
The inexpensive "smart" chargers all seem to want either 2 or 4
batteries at a time to recharge.  But I have a light that uses 3 at a
time.  What happens if you charge 2 or 4 batteries that are unevenly
discharged?  Is one overcharged, or the other undercharged, or do both
questions on batery conditioning10 Mar 2008 15:48 GMT2
Hello
I have two questions  about batteries:
- The seller of a electronic device  told us that the  Lion batteries
of a newly purchased product require the same  startup conditioning
Did some one say a University has found a way to increase the Battery Storage Capacity?  I got something to compliment that invention!!!03 Mar 2008 21:11 GMT4
Yup.... I know I am a boy 13 yrs old (as you called me, that's Ok!) however
you senior citizens ought to hear this, I just got done with the "World 1st
Instant Battery Charger" Invention.... Yup!! Yup!!  Yup!!  15 seconds that's
all it takes to charge a 1,200ma battery, or 2 ...
