I suppose this is being asked all the time but I'm quite in a hurry and couldn't
find a proper answer on the net, so here I am with this problem: I just ordered
a new battery from Subtel for my Siemens Gigaset 100, the directions of which
mention that only Ni-Cd should be used; ...

I'm an electronic engineer and am designing a three terminal
potentiostat esp. for cyclic voltammtery.
So as to appear mildy intelligent (!) I have done some googling of the
subject and am confused by the terms anodic scan and cathodic scan and

I know little about batteries - which is why I'm here!
I have an older laptop that I just bought a replacement battery pack for. It
uses (8) 18650 batteries.

I've been tasked to locate a vendor of compact rechargeable batteries
that can be mil-spec certified (though I don't know to which mil-
specs) that will last at least 24hrs under a 10W draw at 250-500mA.
The size contraints are about the size of 12 AA size batteries

Does anyone know of a table of different molten salts indicating their
melting and boiling points?
