Running a Microwave Oven off Gas Generator18 Nov 2009 00:09 GMT5
I've been trying to see if I can get my microwave oven to run off my
gas generator.  Whenever I plug it in, the microwave front panel
display stops working.  My thoughts are that the AC current coming
from the generator is not "clean" enough to run the microwave circuit

    2000 maH "Low self-discharge" batteries

I am used to using 18650 Li Ion cells in parallel.
I have just been looking at Lithium Polymer for the first time and
have been advised not to put Li Po cells in parallel. Is this normal
advise? If so what is differnet about paralleling Li Ion and Li Po

I am about to purchase a job lot of NiMH battery packs for a handheld
radio. They are of unknown quality, but are going cheap.
I have 3 radios, but only 1 rapid charger. The batteries are 7.2 v,
and have 3 terminals which connect to the charger, so assume there is
