Just wondering what this is -- a fluke?  It's not Helens, as this
activity corresponds with nothing there. (You can see the Helens
background seismo during the "quiet times", and it's much weaker.)

After a rather quiet period for the last several hours,  I've noticed a
change in the pattern of activity of the seismographs.
Previously the South Ridge should the largest signals and most activity and
the signal was usually saturated.   At about 15:17PDT the South Ridge signal

another predominantly steam event. Interesting this event occurred ~ 12
hours after Mon event.

from the volcano, specified waves from EQ's near the volcano can be used to
map the magma body. By doing this on a ~ continuous basis the rising magma

So she finally burped.
Was it really any surprise with the way the earthquakes got shallower and
shallower and as frequent as 4 quakes per minute???
The science was there documenting the whole process.

Narrows Quake. The quake struck at 7:42 am local time with
a magnitude of 5.9.
